What it takes to have a Miracle?

Miracle … to quote a dictionary meaning (any amazing or wonderful occurrence, a marvellous event manifesting a supernatural act of a divine agent) would be a routine beginning. But in true sense, to me, it is next to hope in terms of hierarchy, and hope, should be as strong as it could be for a miracle to materialise.

There is this wonderful list of things I came across in one of the blogs I follow regularly. This list, of course is like things to do type, but with a hint to make yourself little closer to what is know as ‘perfect’. One of the thing that really interested me was the line that said “Never deprive someone of hope; it might be all that they have”. It is so right, isn’t it?

Hoping for things to go in the way they should go, hoping that governments of the world would sweep away poverty from the face of The Earth, hoping that bureaucrats are not just bureaucrats, and hoping for everything that makes you want a miracle.

But how can we hope for miracle when our hope is not as strong as it could be. Miracle needs strong hope to materialise ... I said this before. Strong hope needs a relentless and indefatigable effort that metamorphosis into hope. This hope will definitely lead to a miracle. Merely hoping for miracle by offering to Him will lead nowhere (I’m not atheist, I fear HIM). Like one of The Hindu article says He is “Bound by Love”, to get rid of poverty don’t offer tolas of gold instead use it to uplift lives ... just an example to quote, and to get rid of other worries of the world ... “where there is a will there is a way”, not a new one though.

So the hierarchy goes like this:
relentless and indefatigable effort → strong hope → miracle.

The bottom line:
Work to make your hope a miracle.

Not a Second Chance!

It’s always good when you have good goals and big dreams. It’s always good when you make yourself fit for The War. However, somewhere down the lane you meet people, make new relations, move a little away from the line, and do things that you thought, you were never fit to do. May be its just your under estimation of yourself. But still you are moving away! Yet, you enjoy the change.

These things make you mad and insane, and they will haunt you. It’s the beginning of merry-go-round, merry-go-round of everything. But you still enjoy the ride; rarely realizing where you are heading, until you find yourself in trauma and emotional turmoil. The ride ends here! Realization begins, like thunder bolt form heaven that leads to cessation of your deviational activity, though a streak remains.

Damage is done. Now neither you can start at square one nor move-on as strong as you were. It’s hard to understand what you’ve gained, that would always help you win The War and have superior hand. It’s even harder to comprehend what has happened to you all these years!

You tend to spend more time alone, to churn your way out of chaos, to find a new path to victory because you know “there is always another way” and not a second chance in complete sense(nobody gets a second chance). You’ll neither know the reason for your deviation nor how it is useful for your victory, until the time is ripe and this is what keeps your journey a blissful one …HOPE.

Keep Learning

From the time a child is born, the process of learning beings, this process ends with his last breath. Every minute spent living on the face of Earth is a process of learning. To me the essence of learning is to improve our life style to such an extent that we reach the zenith of perfection(though “perfection” is abstract word to me).

A teacher teaching to students is not true learning, a self thought teaching is true learning, because we show interest to learn only when a situation demands. When you learn in such a condition chances are that you may not forget what you’ve learnt. This type of learning is just like a child learning to walk.

Learning is also an art. Learning everything doesn’t make any sense. It’s like “Jack of all trades and master of none”. We should be aware of what we must learn and what we must not (can be considered as energy economics). But then, how are we supposed to know what to learn? As kids we learnt to walk and talk, which are essential for survival, so learning should be in the direction for survival (seems simple isn’t it?).

Learning process is as continuous as time. Consciousness and alertness are the vital ingredients to make learning an aroma rich food for brain. Let me show you how…making a note of minute differences in regular conversations with people, which otherwise are unimportant, can make you a good analyser of mentalities of people around you. This defiantly makes a difference to you.

Unlearning of old stuff (like information about a process, technical know how)is also equally important. Things that are old should be scraped so that it enables us to make room for new replacements with better comforts, same is the case with learning process (in a way its energy economics again). Unlearning something enables us to evolve from a given situation, and gives way for learning. This again can be exemplified by present day’s gadgets and gismos which are replacing good old stuff ( I guess these are no more “good” old stuff that’s the reason they are getting replaced).

“Learn and learn until you learn no new lessons”, because life is like that, you run towards it before it drags you.

Feel Good Factor

When ever something goes bad or against my will the only sentence I keep hearing from my very close buddy is "mamu ..... its for your own good" and flashes his teeth saying "positive thinking duude!".

I never felts its impulse until I had its fruit, and the fruit is "tension free life" . What else you want in this world of race.

We as young adults, have lot of issues in our mind that cause a lot of disturbance to actual routine and the best way as we figured it out is "Positive Thinking". Though this is not a new "concept" but putting old wine in new wineskins made a difference ....... and as usual I'm sharing it with you all ... and hoping to get a comment someday

We always apply positive thinking when we lose a great victory, its always good even if we use same positive thinking when, say, missed your college bus and have to take time taking public transport. Positive side of this can be that, you can meet someone who will be very special or the faculty for the first hour is on leave(these thoughts make you smile while reading itself, isn't). Lets take another incident ... fights between two best friends or may be between lovers, is a good idea to deal with. As usual they will stop speaking with each other for a while and during this time (to be positive because I always think positive) they realize each others importance and apologize faster than usual. But if take these in negative sense, then it only leads to burdened brain with tough thoughts of regret.

Another, though not an application directly related to positive thinking is, positive feeling, which is an important factor to say that "I'm fine and the world is fine". I really never tried this, but had a wonderful experience with my buddy while shopping, the incident goes like this ...we were shopping and we came across two really nice tee shirts and ... as usual had confusion for making a decision. Then he suddenly picked up one of them and said that his girl-friend(there is a "-" so no miss understandings please) likes that color, and flashed his teeth again, saying "positive thinking duude!". So thats how the decision was made without much head ache over silly tee shirt selection. Here in this case, positive feeling of my friend in disguise of positive thinking is that, some day she might be someone special to him.

After reading all this, you might feel that I'm telling you all to day dream. No, never, a person who is able to think positive will have a negative thought as well and a person who is able to see both sides of a coin is not insane to day dream. Its always important to be master of you mind than being master of others and positive thinking is a way to gain control of mind. Once you have a positive thought of something then chances are that you may not think of it any more as you know that good is going to come on its way.

"Be Positive in approach"

Don't Let the Net Wet Your Brain

I never thought that using internet will cause an impact on my behavior. Yes frankly ... I never bothered the way I'm being molded by the vast size of useful and not so useful information that is available. I realized this only when I tried to stay away from ORKUT for at least 1 year. More than staying away, the thought of staying away made me more mad, and was back to Orkut with in 1 day. So here I'm, sharing experience of mine ... "Away from Orkut" and about the way we are influenced by the internet.

Orkut or for that matter any socializing network like
Bigadda are just a way to be in touch with friends that are away, or old buddies from school, but these changed the style of socializing, the way we deal with people, the way we speak with the opposite person, everything that is related to inter - human relations, and of course the language, though a dynamic one, is also changing, to say in negative direction. Guys if u stumble upon a person who uses "oh", "k", "wat else" ... quite frequently in his speech then you can be sure that he is a net socializer (no regrets please this is a fact from personal experience and relates to younger generations with a few exceptions, by the way exceptions conforms the rules). The advantage of being behind the screen and speaking to the opposite person is that, it provides no clue of the speaker's mind set unless the listener is smart enough to pick up the mood of the speaker in the words that are being sent across cyber space (guys again I had an experience on this kind, some how I like to share my experience). Darker side of this is obviously misunderstandings and wreckage.

Browsing through the large chunk of information that is frothing everyday seems to be the easiest way to get knowledge ... I accept this without second thought . But what about the authenticity of the information that is thrown into cyber space, who is going to look after such issues ... guys this is cringing me. Knowing nothing is better than having wrong information, isn't?

Though it was one day, I was away from Orkut ... the thoughts floating in my mind made me to come down and say that "
INTERNET has a power to revolutionize the society like the discovery of wheel did once."
